Sudan and Saudi Arabia joint military exercise ended
The "Fuluk 3" joint military exercise jointly held by Sudan and Saudi Arabia ended on February 28 at the Sudan Port Naval Base in eastern Sudan.
The joint military exercise was launched at the Sudan Port Naval Base last week. The Sudanese and Saudi Arabian armed forces and maritime security related units participated in the exercise. The exercise focused on strengthening the joint maritime capabilities of the Sudan and Saudi Arabia and improving the operational level, including anti-smuggling and anti-human trafficking.
Senior officials of the Sudanese and Saudi navies attended the closing ceremony at the Port Sudan Port Naval Base on the 28th. Saudi students who are attending the Sudanese Joint Command and Staff College also attended the closing ceremony.
Since March 2015, the Sudan has joined the Saudi-led multinational military operation against the armed forces of Yemen, Yemen. In 2017, Sudan and Saudi Arabia held the first joint air force exercise to improve the ability of the two air forces to jointly fight against the rebels.
