Woman Who Throws her Day Old Baby Boy Inside Soakaway got Arrested
Risikat supposedly dedicated the offense last Monday at Ishaga Surulere region of Owode-Yewa.
Her capture pursued a trouble call got by individuals from Ibukun Oluwapo Community in Ishaga, who stopped protest with the police that a few youngsters heard the crying of a child in the soakaway while they were playing at the lawn of their compound.
On accepting the data, the DPO in Owode-Yewa, SP Olabisi Elebute, immediately drove a group of police officers to the scene where the child was protected with the help of individuals from people in general.
Examination directed by police later uncovered that Risikat, a mother of six kids who had furtively brought forth the child kid as ahead of schedule as 5a.m Monday morning, was liable for the brutal demonstration.
Upon cross examination, the suspect purportedly admitted to carrying out the wrongdoing since she found that she had no methods for appropriately bolstering every one of her youngsters.
The suspect told the police that her significant other and father of the considerable number of youngsters had since fled to an obscure goal with no expectation of returning to the family.
The infant and the mother have been taken to the emergency clinic for medicinal consideration.
