Solder's wife abducted in Maiduguri by Boko Haram
An eye witness, Aliyu Yunusa, has revealed how a soldier was abducted along Maiduguri road on Friday with his wife.
Yunusa, whose vehicle was exceptionally near the area of the kidnapping, educated our reporter that the guerillas mounted a registration out and about and were chasing for security agents where they did the activity.
As indicated by him, the vehicle passing on the officer, his significant other and different travelers was three vehicles from the doomed registration when the episode happened.
"We thought it was a typical registration when we saw the Boko Haram young men in military uniform with a military hilux remaining in front of us.
"Our vehicle was only three vehicles from their vehicles. We didn't approach however yet we detected something was going on strange.
"At the point when the vehicle in front of us chose to pass, they took shots at him yet he didn't stop and drove away. Our vehicle with others behind us chose to return.
"We held up after at some point then our driver began moving towards Maiduguri. It was after we came to Auno that every one of the vehicles halted and we met the driver of the vehicle who portrayed the entire story to us on how they removed the fighter with his better half," Yunusa described.
As per Yunusa, the driver of the Sharon vehicle, which was originating from Kaduna, let them know on landing in the registration, they sat tight for at some point and the officer chose to descend from the vehicle to talk with the extremists to enable them to pass, thinking they were his partners.
"It was after he got to the extremists and gave them his ID card that they chose to hold him prisoner. His significant other in the wake of seeing that her better half is in peril demanded that she should follow her significant other after her asking was not fruitful.
"It was by then that the Boko Haram young men opened the vehicle and requested that her enter the vehicle and they took off to the shrubbery," Yunusa described.
The observer included the driver educated them "the Boko Haram young men in the wake of taking the fighter and his better half requested that they go and began shooting sporadically and zoomed off into the hedge."
